1/2 cup butter-softened
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 T light corn syrup
2 T water
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups choc chips
1 cup nutmeats (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, butter, sugar, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Add to cream mixture. Beat well, add choc cihps. Drop by ice cream scoop 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375º for 12-14 minutes or unitl very light brown.
