1 c. sugar
1 c. buttter
1 c. milk
1 c. golden syrup
2 tsp. carbonated soda
3 c. flour
2 dessert spoons ginger
1 tsp. spice
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat sugar, butter, milk, and syrup until dissolved.
2. When cool, add carbonated soda.
3. Mix flour with ginger and spice.
4. Break in eggs separately and stir well.
5. Put into foil lined meat dish or bake cake tin and bake in moderate oven.
