3 lbs. chuck roast, cut into 1'' cuts
4-5 tbsp. olive oil
1 large onion
4 medium carrots, cut up
1 8oz. can of tomato sauce
1 large can Italian tomatoes, undrained, smashed
1 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cold water
4 tsp. cornstarch
1 lb. noodles (spinach)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In Dutch oven, brown meat in olive oil.
2. Add next nine ingredients to meat.
3. Simmer over low heat until meat is tender, about 2 hours.
4. Blend water and cornstarch, add to stew.
5. Look and stir until thickened and bubbly.
6. Serve over hot buttered egg noodles.
