3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 c. cooking oil
2 T. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together into large bowl and mix. Add oil, vinegar, vanilla, and water. Beat well. Pour into 9 X 13 in. pan or round layer cake pans. Bake 350º degrees for 35 min. or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center. When cool, frost as desired.

For Wacky Cake Chocolate Frosting combine:
1/4 c. butter
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
Add 1 T. milk at a time until frosting is a good consistency.
