1 lb. ground beef
1 T. parsley flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 (15-oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
1 (10-oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
Cheese Mixture
1 lb. cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 T. parsley flakes
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef until it loses color. Add parsley flakes, garlic, oregano, salt, tomatoes and paste. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Meat mixture should be thick. Cook noodles in boiling salted water for 12 minutes , Drain. Prepare cheese mixture. Layer in 9 x 12 inch pan; little meat first, then noodles, meat and cheese mixture and then mozzarella. Repeat for second layer. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.

This can be made in the crock pot instead of baking and cooked for 8 hours on low. You can now buy noodles that do not require boiling ahead of time. You can use jar sauce when in a hurry, just add to your hamburger. Enjoy, this is Michael's favorite food!
