1 large head of cabbage
1/2 bunch celery
2 green peppers
2 red peppers (mangoes)
1 tsp. mustard seed
2 tbsp. salt
1 cup vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Slice, chop or grind the cabbage and add the celery, both kinds of peppers and the mustard seed. Spread 2 tbsp. of salt over the vegetables and mix well. Let stand for 2 hours then squeeze out the juice.
Boil the vinegar, sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved, let cool. Pour over vegetables and mix well. Place in jars or plastic containers and let stand in refrigerator for 2 or 3 days to season. Use immediately or freeze for later.
