¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter, soft
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups flour
3 tablespoons lemon rind, grated
3 tablespoons baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter and eggs until light. Spoon flour into mixture. Mix well. Add powder and salt. Stir well. Add nuts and lemon rind. Spoon into a greased 9" x 5" , cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until done. Remove from pan immediately.
