cup butter, softened
⅔ cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 cup mini chocolate chips, melted
1 cups applesauce
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
cup mini chocolate chips

cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
2-3 tablespoons half-and-half cream
cup powdered sugar
tsp vanilla
pinch salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and melted chocolate. Mix well. Add applesauce and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon the batter into four greased 5 x 3" x 2" loaf pans. Bake 350 F for 35-40 minutes or until done. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove and cool completely. Drizzle on glaze.

Melt chocolate chips and butter. Stir in cream. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, vanilla and salt. Drizzle over warm bread.
