1 beef flank steak ( about 1 1/2 pounds)
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon grated gingerroot
2 large cloves garlic, minced

Directions:
Directions:
Place flank steak in a shallow dish. Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Place dish in plastic bag, seal and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours, turning steak occasionally. Drain steak, discard marinade, grill to desired doneness.

We've let this marinate for 2 days, and it's still great. This is the one dish our son always asks for when he's home on leave.
