1 chocolate cake mix
1 c. sourdough start
2/3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk chocolate chips
1 pkg. caramels
1 cube butter
1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Foil line a 12 inch Dutch oven. Mix cake according to directions, add sourdough start and baking powder. Pour half of the batter into the Dutch oven and bake until middle is done and springs back about 20 to 25 minutes. While cake is baking, melt butter and caramels in a small pan. Stir in sweetened condensed milk. When bottom layer is cooked, sprinkle chocolate chips then pour melted caramels over cake. Pour the last half of batter over caramels and return cake to coals. Bake another 20-25 minutes until the middle is done and springs back.

Serve with a generous amount of whipped topping.
