1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 quart peaches reserving 1/2 cup syrup
1/2 cup honey, melted or 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup evaporated milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Put into a bowl the flour, butter and salt. Mix with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. With back of spoon, press mixture firmly onto bottom and halfway up sides of buttered 8 inch square pan. Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup syrup. Slice peaches and arrange on crust in pan. Sprinkle with melted honey (or sugar) mixed with cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes. Mix reserved syrup, 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 egg, slightly beaten. Pour over peaches Bake 30 minutes more, or until custard is firm Except in center. Center becomes firm on standing. Serve warm or colds with whipped cream or alone.
