1 loaf French or Italian bread, sliced thick
8 large eggs
3 cups half & half
4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9X13 baking dish with extra butter. Arrange bread in single layer in bottom of the dish. Whisk eggs with remaining ingredients, except butter. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To bake, uncover and dot with 2 tbsp butter and bake at 350 for 45 -50 minutes until bread is puffy and lightly browned. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes.
