6 slices bread, crusts removed
1 1/2 cups (6-oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 lb sausage
6 eggs, beaten
t cups milk
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread slices in a greased 9X13X2 baking dish, and set aside. Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble: drain well. Sppon over bread slices; sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs, milk and salt; mix well and pour over cheese. Cover casserole and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes or until set.

This is obviously for beakfast. We have it every Christmas morning! If you are pressed for time, you can prepare dish with bread, sausage and cheese and freeze. The night before serving, add rest of ingredients, place in refrigerator, and bake the next morning.
