Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 envelope yeast
1/2 c. warm water (110-115º)
1/4 c sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c boiling water
1 beaten egg
1 t salt
3-4 c All Purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle 1 envelope yeast in 1/2 cup warm water (110-115º) and let stand until dissolved. Into a large bowl put sugar, stick of margarine and 1/2 cup boiling water, stirring until sugar and margarine are dissolved. Add yeast and beaten egg and stir. Add salt and flour, one cup at a time, mixing thoroughly. (It will be very sticky, and a little thick). Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours. Roll out 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface and cut in rounds. (I work with about a 1/4 of the dough at a time and keep the rest in the refrigerator, which makes it not so sticky). Dip circle in melted butter/margarine and fold in half. Place close together in a 9 x 13 pan. Let rise for 1 hour before baking. Bake at 400º for 12 to 17 minutes.

These are very quick to make. They are easy to mix together in the morning, and let rise during the day. I love making them for holidays.
