1 cup meal
3 eggs
2 t baking powder
1/8 t baking soda
1 t salt
2 T sugar
buttermilk (1 cup or more)
3 T lard

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meal, slightly beaten eggs, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar. Add enough buttermilk to make mixture soupy. Heat 3 T lard/grease in a skillet and add batter to skillet. Bake in 400º oven 26 to 30 minutes or until brown.
