Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Ttopping:( note this does not include the dough recipe)
1 large can of petite diced tomatoes.
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
2 1/2 -3 cups shredded italian cheese mix
1/2 lb. mild/sweet Italian sausage

(separate note: I also use one small can of seasoned tomato sauce alone on top of the dough before everything not mixed with the above list)

Directions:
Directions:
Make the dough as listed in the pizza dough recipe and set to the side to rise, while it is rising....
Topping instructions:
Bake sausage in 400 degree oven about 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Open can of diced tomatoes, squeeze with hands or fork to remove all the juice (may be saved for soup or stew). Add the seasonings into the squeezed tomatoes.
(DO NOT MIX THE CAN of tomato sauce with this)
Now all your steps are ready.....

Place dough in oiled pain, speading with fingers around bottom and part way up the sides of the pan. If the dough tears, just pinch together.

Then spread the CAN of seasoned tomato sauce on the dough..
Spread shredded cheese on top of dough.
Place pieces of sausage over cheese.
Place tomato mixture on top of sausage.
Sprinkle with a little additional oregano.
Bake in preheated 425 oven on bottom rack for about 20 to 25 minutes.
