Popped popcorn
peanuts, almonds, pecans, cashews
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
1 T. Crisco shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Pop popcorn into 2 glass cake pans 3/4 full (use air popper). Microwave popcorn works also.
Add 1 handful each to both pans: peanuts, almonds, pecans, and cashews.
Preheat oven 250º F. In a sauce pan, add 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. Karo syrup, 1 c. brown sugar. Bring to boil for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally. Pour over popcorn. Stir to coat. Bake one hour. Stir each pan every 15 minutes. Spread baked popcorn/nuts on waxed paper. Melt 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips in microware. Stir in 1 T. Crisco. Spoon over popcorn. Let dry overnight.
