Mandarin Orange Salad Recipe

1/3 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
dash of black pepper

1/2 cup almonds, slivered
3 tbsp sugar
4 cups salad mix
4 cups young spinach leaves
1 cup sliced celery
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
1 11 oz can mandarin oranges

Combine all dressing ingredients, shake and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Place sugar and almonds in small pan, saute over medium heat until almonds are glazed. Spread on foil to cool. In large bowl toss all salad makings together. Add oranges and almonds last. Then pour dressing over all and serve.
