1 c butter/shortening
2 c sugar
4 eggs
3 c flour
1/2 t salt
3 t baking powder
1 c milk
Topping: 3 T sugar and 3 t cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat mixture well. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Add this mixture to the first mixture, adding the milk gradually. Put 1/3 of dough into an ungreased angle food cake pan. Add 1/3 of topping, then another 1/3 of dough, and continue, ending with topping. Bake at 350º for one hour. Cool before removing from pan.
