Personal Notes:
My grandmother Leona was German by the way of Pennsylvania. She was the best baker I have ever met and I wish today I had the recipes for her homemade donuts, lemon meringue pie and chocolate pudding cake. This was one of her favorite desserts to bring to family gatherings, whenever I make it I think of her!! I hope you enjoy!
