1 Butternut squash
1 to 2 apples
"Brownulated" sugar
Butter/margarine

Soften the squash in microwave for 3 or 4 minutes. Let cool. Peel and core apples. Slice into 1/4 inch flat slices. Cut squash in half lengthwise. Clean out seeds. Peel outer skin. Slice into 1/4 inch flat slices.
Butter a medium casserole dish. Layer squash, then apple; sprinkle with Brown sugar and dot with butter. Make at least 3 layers.

Bake @ 350 for about 50 minutes [until squash is soft].
