1 9 inch pie shell, baked
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tsp. grated lime rind
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
4 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. lime juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg yolks until light and
lemon colored. Add 1/2 cup lime juice, rind and mix well. Beat in
condensed milk, then pour custard mixture into ie shell.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry, then gradually add sugar
and continue beating to form a fairly stiff meringue. Blend in 1
tsp. lime juice. Spread meringue gently over pie. Bake at 350
about 15 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cool and
refrigerate. Serve well chilled.
