2 pkgs. yeast
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
6 c. unsifted flour
1 tbsp. sugar
½ c. water
cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Heat liquids till very warm. Add to dry ingredients. Beat well. Stir in rest of flour to make a stiff BATTER. Spoon into 2 loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Sprinkle top of batter with cornmeal. Cover, let rise in warm place 45 minutes. Bake at 400º for 25 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. If you like English muffins you can make this anytime yourself. Tastes the same (maybe even better). Slice off and toast or warm in microwave with butter. THIS IS VERY EASY!!!
