1 small box lime Jello;
1 small can crushed Pineapple, drained
Juice from crushed Pineapple
48 miniature Marshmallows
1 cup Cottage Cheese
1 cup Cool Whip
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1) Heat until hot the juice from the pineapple and enough water to make 2 cups.
2) Add marshmallows and Jello and stir until both are dissolved. Cool until firm.
3) Add nuts, cottage cheese, Cool Whip and pineapple. Pour into mold.

In the early 50's my parents moved to California from South Dakota with two other couples and since we had no other family near by they were our family, especially at holiday time. My mom's best friend, Audrey, always brought her Bavarian Cream to Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner. In those days there was no such thing as Cool Whip so it was made with real whipped cream.
