1 cup basil leaves
2 garlic cloves
2 T pine nuts (pignoli)
Pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmigiano or Pecorino cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
1 lb. pasta (spagehetti or penne regate works best)

Directions:
Directions:
Put large pot of water on to boil.

Combine basil, garlic and pine nuts in a food processor.

Slowly add olive oil.

Pour into a bowl and stir in cheese.

Add pasta to boiling water. Follow directions on box.

Drain pasta and put in bowl and stir in pesto.
