1 cup shortening
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten well
3 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp soda
5 tbsp milk
2 cups dates cut up.
3/4 cups nuts.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the shortening, sugar, salt, vanilla. Add eggs then the flour, soda, milk. Add the dates and nuts.Drop by tsp and press. Bake 12-15 min at 375º.
