1 tsp. granulated sugar
¼ cup warm water (105-115ºF)
2¼ tsp. active dry yeast
2 Tbsp. butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
1½ tsp. salt
1 cup warm milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
3½ cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, warm water and yeast together in small bowl and let stand 10 mins.
2. Mix butter, sugar, salt and warm milk together until butter melts.
3. Add egg to warm milk mixture.
4. Mix flour and wet mixture in mixer.
5. Add yeast.
6. Gradually add flour until dough becomes elastic.
7. Let stand 10 mins.
8. Mix on low for 6 mins.
9. Sprinkle flour on counter and knead 10 times.
10. Place dough in buttered bowl, cover with plastic wrap for 1-2 hours in oven with light on.
11. Let dough double in size.
12. Punch dough down.
13. Turn onto lightly floured countertop and divide into 32 balls.
14. Pinch bottom and put into lightly buttered 9x13" baking dish.
15. Cover with plastic wrap and let double in size, approximately 1 hour.
16. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
17. Bake for 20 mins.
18. Brush with a bit of melted butter with a pinch of sugar.
19. Let sit 5 mins and then turn out to cool.
