1/2 cup shortening or oleo
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup milnot milk

Icing
vanilla
evaporated milk
powdered sugar
oleo or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, combine flour, salt, soda, add to sugar mixture. Add nuts and milk. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400º until light brown. Combine icing ingredients until desired consistancy. Spread on cooled cookies.
