Nana's Lasagna Recipe

1-2 lbs of ground beef
canned tomatoes
2 Tbsp parsley
1 tsp sugar
Basil
½ tsp salt

Lasagna Noodles

Large container cottage cheese
¼ cup parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp Parsley
1 Tbsp Oregano
1½ tsp salt

Mozzarella Cheese (measure with your heart)

Boil Noodles

Cook hamburger meat with onions and garlic
Add all of the sauce ingredients once hamburger is done and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until juice is going down.

Mix cheese filling ingredients together.

Layer noodles, meat sauce and then mozzarella, then add cottage cheese mixture. Repeat
Cook on 350º and add more mozzarella until brown on top.

This is my daughter-in-law, Missy's nana!! She is part of the family! I have learned the key to Sandy's lasagna is the homemade canned tomatoes she uses and she lets it set before you eat it. Trust me, it is hard to watch it sit for a while, because it is so good!
