4 cans green beans or 2 frozen bags (cook first)
½ medium onion, cut into rings
8 strips of bacon, fried (save drippings)
½ cup slivered almonds
6 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Drain beans and put in casserole dish. Put onions on beans. Crumble bacon over beans and sprinkle with almonds. Mix and heat drippings, sugar and vinegar. Pour over beans and let marinade overnight or a few hours. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes
