"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
I know MaMaw could a lot of things, but I only rememeber her making vegetable soup, meatloaf, and rice krispie treats! When the whole family would show up, her neighbor, Ms. Dye, would come down and cook us breakfast. However, when we were at Aunt Dene's house, Mamaw and Dene would make us chocolate covered biscuits. It was a real treat!
My Uncle Ray found the handwritten recipe pictured: Here is a recipe so authentic that it was written by someone on the back of a Burger King receipt from Mt. Pleasant TN (which is where Aunt Dene's house was)!
