2 c. Water

2 c. Sugar

2 c. Raisins

3 T. Lard

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

1 c. nuts

3 c. Flour

1 tsp. Soda

1 tsp. Salt

Directions:

Boil first four ingredients together for 5 minutes.

Let cool.

Then add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.

Add the nuts.

Put in 9 X 13' pan.

Bake 1 hour at 350º
