3 c. Whole wheat flour
½ c. Nonfat dry milk
1 Tbsp. Salt
2 pkgs. Active dry yeast (or 4½ tsp of dry yeast)

3 c. Water
½ c. Honey
2 Tbsp. Cooking oil

1 c. Additional whole wheat flour
4-4½ c. All purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.

Heat water, honey, and cooking oil in a saucepan over low heat until warm.

Pour warm liquid over flour mixture.

Blend at low speed for 1 minute, then medium speed for 2 minutes.

By hand, stir in 1 c. additional whole wheat flour plus 4-4½ c. all purpose flour.

Knead on floured surface for about 5 minutes.

Place dough in greased bowl; cover and let rise 45-60 minutes, until light & doubled in bulk.

Punch down dough; divide in half. Shape and place in greased pans.

Cover & let rise 40-45 minutes.

Bake at 375º for 40-45 minutes (until loaf sounds hollow when lightly tapped.)

Remove from pan & cool on wire rack before slicing.
