2 lbs. potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
10 Tbsp. butter
1/2-3/4 c milk
Salt and pepper
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 large head cabbage sliced
6 slices bacon cooked chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until tender and drain. Add back to the pot and mash with 6 tablespoons of butter and milk until creamy.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet and sauté the onions. Add the cabbage and cook over medium heat until softened and season with salt and pepper. Add the cabbage to the potatoes along with the bacon. Gently stir to combine and transfer to a baking dish.
Top the center with 2 tablespoons butter and keep warm until serving.
