16 oz. frozen potato and cheese pierogi
1 pound kielbasa, sliced
1 onion chopped
2 cups drained sauerkraut
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Place half of the frozen pierogi at bottom of a large slow cooker.

Layer with half of the kielbasa slices, half of the chopped onions, and half of the sauerkraut.

Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese

In a bowl, combine sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the layered items in the slow cooker.

Repeat the layers using the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, sauerkraut and cheddar cheese. Follow with rest of sour cream mixture on top.

Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours, ensuring the pierogi becomes tender and kielbasa is thoroughly heated.

Before serving - garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
