- 1 shallot, sliced thin
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp fennel seeds, crushed
- ½ tsp red pepper flake
- 15 oz can white beans (cannellini, great northern, or navy)
- 8 oz broccolini, cut into 2" lengths
- Salt and pepper
- 8 oz orecchiette pasta
- 2 oz parmesan cheese, shredded

- Boil a pot of water for the pasta
- Heat oil in a large skillet
- Add shallot and garlic, with the oregano and pepper flake and cook until the garlic becomes golden
- Add beans to the pan, with the can juices
- Cook the pasta according to package directions, adding the broccoli stems when 3 min remain, adding broccoli florettes when 1 minute remains
- Drain pasta and broccoli and add to the beans.
- Mix pasta with beans and sprinkle with cheese.
