2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
2/3 cup undiluted CARNATION evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups (4 ounces) miniature marshmallows
1-1/2 cups NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecan or walnuts

Butter 8-inch square pan. In medium saucepan, combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium hat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, vanilla and nuts. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows melt completely. Pour into pan. Cool and cut into squares.
Hint: For thicker fudge, use 7x5- inch loaf pan.
