1 lb ground beef
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped ripe olives
6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground oregano
1/8 tsp ground pepper
1 loaf French bread (unsliced)
3 tomatoes sliced
5 slices sharp cheese halved (I use Velveeta)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend all ingredients except bread, tomato and cheese slices
Split the loaf of bread evenly lengthwise
Spread each half with meat mixture
Broil loaf 5 inches from heat. (I fork meat halfway to avoid over browning) Broil 10-12 minutes. Remove pan
Top one half with tomato slices, top other half with cheese slices
Broil 1-2 minutes to melt cheese
Put halves together and slice
