1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1-Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2-Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3-Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
4-Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5-Fold in the Goodies: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and Rice Krispies cereal until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
6-Scoop and Bake: Drop rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
7-Serve and Enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
