Cook Time- 3 hours


2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce i used sweet baby rays
1 cup root beer I used A&W
Minced dried onion or a medium chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken and then the root beer; spread around.
Sprinkle a little minced dried onion/or chopped onion on top if desired.
Cover and cook on High heat setting 2-3 hours until chicken is tender.
Shred with 2 forks and serve on rice, mashed potatoes or in buns
