2-3 Pound Chuck Roast
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, to taste
5-8 Potatoes, washed and chunked. Leave skin on.
2-3 Onions, sliced
8-12 Carrots, washed and chunked. Leave skin on.
2-4 Stalks Celery, washed and chunked diagonally
1 Small or 1/2 Large Cabbage, quartered
1 Pkg. Knorr Onion Soup

Directions:

Trim off all fat.

Place beef in roasting pan which has been sprayed with Pam.
Broil until slightly crispy.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and pour on 1/4 C kind.
Cover and roast approximately 21/2 hours.
Layer on vegetables, carrots first, then potatoes, then onion with cabbage on top.
Mix dry soup mix with approximately 1 cup water, to make soupy consistency. Pour over vegetables.

Cover and roast until veggies are cooked as done as you like, approximately 1 hour.

If you like your stew thicker, add flour and water to make that paste into the liquid and boil gently until it thickens.
