1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup chopped nut meats (walnuts or pecans)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and lightly flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Beat eggs in a mixing bowl until well combined.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt three times.
Add dry ingredients to eggs alternately with milk, mixing just until combined.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for about 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
