1 chuck roast (4 pounds)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (14-ounce) can beef broth or water with 2 teaspoons of beef bouillon
2 or 3 tablespoons flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put seasonings on the roast and brown it on both sides in large frying pan with 2 or 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Save the pan for making gravy. Place the roast in the crock pot. Pour the can of broth around the roast, not over it. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Or high for 4-5 hours.
When finished cooking pour
liquid into large measuring cup. Shred meat and keep in Crock-Pot. Heat the frying pan and add 3 or 4 tablespoons of flour. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes til lightly browned. Slowly pour in reserved liquid. Cook until thickened. Adjust seasoning. May need more salt an pepper. Can add more beef bouillon as desired. Pour over the roast beef. Enjoy❤️
