7-8 medium sized yams peeled & chopped
2 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
4 tbsp salted butter
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Toss the yams into the slow cooker

Sprinkle the cornstarch all over the yams, and toss.
Next toss in the white & brown sugar.
Sprinkle in cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add in the vanilla extract, and water.
Top off the yams with the butter.
Now cover the slow cooker, and set on low.
Let the candied yams cook 3 hours.
