2 large cans of Bush's baked beans (any variety will work)
Lots of brown sugar (a cup or more)
A few shakes of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
A little brown mustard
Several squirts of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce
Directions:
Directions:
Throw all the ingredients in a pot, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Taste and adjust by adding more sugar or BBQ sauce to your liking.

Lew does not measure anything but somehow this comes together beautifully! This one reminds me of our many summer cookouts around the pool or the days of cooking for the Western Carolina baseball team in Cullowhee, NC. The families of the players would always cook for them after the Saturday home games. We usually partnered with our friends, Mike and Wendi Sparks. Mike would stay up all night smoking a bunch of BBQ butts and we would provide the sides. Fun times!
