2 c Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking powder


3/4 c Sugar
1/2 lb - softened butter
1 Egg - room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift flour with salt and baking powder
2. Blend butter with sugar for 3 min
3. Add egg and vanilla just till combined
4. Reduce speed and slowly add in flour
5. Form into 2 balls & chill
6. Roll out the chilled dough and cut into whatever shape (cookie cutter) you like

Bake @ 350 for 10 - 15 min just before browned.

Top with Royal Icing which is shiny and dries hard
