1 CUP CANNING ROCK SALT

BRING TO BOIL TO DISOLVE ROCK SALT. PACK CLEAN CANNING JARS WITH PICKELING CUCUMBERS, A FEW PIECES OF FRESH DILL AND 2 TO 4 GARLIC CLOVES PER JAR. ADD HOT BRINE. WIPE RIMS OF JARS CLEAN PUT HOT LID AND HOT RING ON JAR.

MOM ALWAYS LAID TOWELS ON COUNTER AND PUT ALL HOT JARS ON TOWELS WITH A TOWEL OVER JARS OVERNIGHT. BY MORNING JARS WILL SEAL.
