4 12 oz cans cream soda
4 tsp melted butter (unsalted preferred)
8 tbsp butterscotch syrup
whipped cream homemade or canned (not cool whip)
ice

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter and place 1 tsp in each of 4 tall glasses add the butterscotch syrup to the glass and stir to combine. Add the ice and can of soda on top. Top the glasses with some whipped cream and enjoy.

Hot version: melt the butter, butterscotch together. Warm the soda in a sauce pan on med low until warm/slightly hot. Place in 4 tall or wide coffee mugs adding the butter and syrup mixture and top with Whipped cream. Sip around the hearth and enjoy.

To make an alcoholic version, I add a shot of my favorite bourbon. Alternatively you can make this with a beer instead of the soda, but I prefer the bourbon style better.
