5 qt. popped corn
1 c. unsalted cashews
2 c. packed brown sugar
½ c. lite Karo syrup
2 sticks (1 c.) unsalted butter
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, butter, salt, cream of tartar - bring to boiling, stirring over medium-high heat. Without stirring, boil to hard boil (260º on candy thermometer) for 6 - 8 minutes. Remove from heat; quickly stir in baking soda. Pour mixture over popcorn in roaster. Stir to coat. Bake 1 hour in 200º oven, stirring occasionally. Spread on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Break popcorn apart. Store 1 week in airtight container at room temp.
