2 lbs. pinto beans, soak overnight
7 1/2 C. water
garlic powder
onion, chopped
brown sugar
cominos
oregano
chili powder
ham bone or ham hocks, only if really meaty
salt, add last and before serving

Directions:
Directions:
Use stock pot, add water and ham bone/ham hocks and onion bring to a boil. Let cook until ham is falling off of bone. Remove bone from pot and remove meat from bone. Return meat to pot and add remaining ingredients.
